Hello Laura, I am glad you are enjoying your island visit. Picking up information about the places you visit is such a tremendous adventure. As a historian I can recommend you delve into the local history of the places you visit you will never regret it. Have a wonderful time with your dad it is Fathers day here in Australia so I don't know when you celebrate Fathers day or even if you do but happy fathers day to every dad on your site.
