Hello, welcome to the website of the astonishing young sailor, Laura Dekker. Laura has a great dream. She wants to be the youngest sailor to circumnavigate the world. Her preparations are in full swing, and there is a lot of work to be done! Laura is seeking sponsors to help she and her boat Guppy gather all of the equipment and supplies they need, to prepare for their adventure.

In between she still finds time for an occasional sailboat race, and her cabinet is full of trophies. Like any teenager, she enjoys taking her dog, Spot for a walk. Read all over Laura, her boat and her plans on this website.
